Colour analysis and brand size charts: common questions
How do photo try-ons work, how accurate are brand size checks, and can one photo show your colour type? Clear answers on pricing and data privacy.
How sessions and photo try-ons work
What is 10of10?
A digital atelier: you show a piece from an online store, and five AI masters tell you whether it works and which size to get. Tailor Leo names your size in that brand, colorist Mark says whether the tone flatters your face, and stylist Nika suggests ways to style it. Photographer Kris prints an image of you wearing that piece, while shopper Anton can assemble a full look from real items upon request. We walk through a session step by step in our dedicated article.
Can you try clothes on yourself online?
Yes, as a still image rather than a mirror. From your photos and the item's picture, photographer Kris creates a single image of you wearing that piece: it shows how the garment might look on you. Alongside it, the masters evaluate size and color as well as silhouette. There is no video try-on or mirror feature in 10of10.
Can you try on an item from a photo without a link?
Yes. Upload a photo of the clothing item instead of a store link, and the masters will evaluate it on you. A session begins only when the image features wearable goods: clothing or footwear.
Can AI act as a personal stylist?
Partially. AI can look at a specific garment on you and say whether it suits you, what size to pick and how to wear it: that is how the 10of10 masters work. However, they are AI characters with distinct personalities, not in-person stylists. They cannot alter clothes physically or accompany you to a shopping mall.
Will the atelier tell me if a piece does not suit me?
Yes, and that is what matters most. Three masters give ratings from 1 to 10: Nika, Mark and Leo. The overall score is a simple average, and a low rating stays low: no one inflates it to flatter you. If the item does not work, the masters will suggest alternatives instead of praising it.
Can AI assemble an entire outfit?
Yes, if you ask. Shopper Anton tracks down real items from online stores: a capsule around your piece for an occasion, matching items to go with it, alternatives when a cut fails, or similar picks from other brands. Each card leads straight to the store page where the purchase takes place.
How long does it take to get results?
Around half a minute before the first words: during this time the atelier reads the page and prepares its review, then the stylist begins. Each next master joins roughly one second after you tap their tab. The image of you in the piece is ready in about a minute and a half to two minutes, and the shopper's first picks arrive around 35 seconds after asking.
Brand size charts and colour analysis
How do I find my clothing size online?
Take three measurements (chest and waist along with hips) and check them against the size chart of that specific brand, rather than trusting the letter on your favorite top. In 10of10, tailor Leo handles this comparison: he estimates your measurements from photos and uses that brand's exact table.
Why do sizes vary between stores?
Because there is no mandatory standard sizing system across the EU, so each brand creates its own chart. According to official tables, a women's M in Zara and Reserved is built for a 90 cm chest, in Sinsay for 92, and in Mohito for 94. With a 94 cm chest, you wear an L in Zara but an M in Mohito.
How accurately does the atelier pick sizes?
This is a recommendation rather than an absolute promise. Leo estimates chest and waist, plus hips, from two full-length photos and your height: three runs, taking the median. He then checks those numbers against the brand chart, either from the product page or our chart collection. Estimating from photos remains a visual guide rather than a tape measurement, so you can adjust the numbers manually.
How do I find my seasonal color type from a photo?
Send a single photo of your face taken in daylight. Colorist Mark will determine your undertone and seasonal color type, such as clear winter, and build your personal palette. The same photo always yields the same undertone, and in every session Mark tells you whether the color of that specific piece flatters your face.
Free daily energy and refund rules
Is it free?
You can start without paying anything. Each day brings free energy for several sessions, and new accounts receive a one-time bonus. If you need more, energy packs are available: they are one-time purchases without subscriptions, and purchased energy does not expire. Pricing depends on your country, with local taxes shown before payment.
Can I get a refund for energy?
Yes, for unused energy. Within 14 days of purchase you can cancel your package and request a refund for any energy you have not yet spent. Spent energy cannot be refunded. Full instructions are available in our Refund policy, and questions can be sent to hello@10of10.fit.
Your photos and data privacy
What photos are required and why?
Three photos and your height. The face photo lets the colorist identify your undertone. Two full-length photos, from the front and from the side, together with your height, let the tailor estimate measurements. Using these photos and the product image, the photographer generates your try-on visual.
Where are my photos stored and who sees them?
Your photos and try-on visuals reside in a private secure storage space accessible solely to you. They are processed by Google as our AI provider. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes. Read full details in our Privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Inside the app, go to: "Account → Privacy → Delete my data". This removes your profile and photos, your measurements, past history, plus try-on visuals; what happens to purchased energy is explained in our Refund policy. Guest data without an account is erased automatically within 24 hours.
Do I need to create an account?
No, you can start as a guest. To save your profile and measurements, plus your collection, sign in with Google or Apple. The service is intended for people aged 16 and older.
